Dr. Riley Bateman is a Half Moon Bay native with deep roots on the coastside. Before graduating from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, Dr. Riley attended Farallone View Elementary, Cunha Middle School and Half Moon Bay High School.
Dr. Riley loves many aspects of being a dentist, but he most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special. Whether your concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Riley Bateman will take the time to truly get to know you and provide you with exceptional and individualized care.
Dr. Gabriella Bateman graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Dentistry. She also has a master’s degree in oral biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Gabby is passionate about the coastside community. Dr. Gabby initially began her dental career by completing her residency here in Half Moon Bay. After finishing her residency, she became an Associate Professor for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program through NYU Langone Health. In her years of experience, Dr. Gabriella has focused on providing quality and compassionate dental care and takes pride in the strong relationships she has created with her patients and colleagues throughout the years. Her personal mission is to make this world a better place, one smile at a time — and she looks forward to starting with yours.
The Batemans have three young children. In their free time, they enjoy being outdoors in our beautiful town.
Dr. Emma Cho is honored to serve the beloved Half Moon Bay community as your trusted dental care professional. Dr. Cho graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed advanced training here in Half Moon Bay through the New York University (NYU) Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Affiliated with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she is dedicated to continued education and training to provide you with the latest advancements in dentistry.
As a dentist, Dr. Cho finds great satisfaction in witnessing the newfound confidence and joy in our patients as they reach their oral health goals. She prioritizes creating a warm and welcoming environment, as coming to the dental office can be a daunting experience for some. Whether you are here for a routine exam, emergency, cleaning, or treatment, her goal is to address your specific oral health goals and guide you through the intricacies of oral care.
In her free time, Dr. Cho cherishes the sunshine with her beloved puppy, Nala. She also places a high value on community service and dedicates time to clean up San Francisco streets and support local libraries alongside her husband, Nathan.

Hi, my name is Maggie Mata. I grew up in Half Moon Bay. I have been working in dentistry for the past eight years, and I love making patients feel at ease when they come into the office.
I enjoy spending time with my family and also love being a soccer coach.
I was born and raised in Half Moon Bay. I have been in the dental field for over 20 years. My hobbies are hiking, yoga and traveling. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two wonderful children.
Hi, I'm Renate. I have been in the dental field for 14 years, and I can answer all of your dental insurance questions! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching murder documentaries. I do not enjoy long hikes or walking on the beach. :)
Martha entered the dental field after earning her dental assisting certification in Southern California back in 2010. Her extensive knowledge and calming personality help to comfort patients before, during, and after their dental procedures. She and her husband have two beautiful young daughters that love the outdoors. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading murder mysteries, crafting and baking.
